The CLO fabric library offers tons of great fabrics for free, but it's missing some of the most vital everyday sewing fabrics. It also lacks critical information regarding fibre content and weight. These fabric kits help to fill those gaps. Choose from curated selections of cut-and-sew knits, wovens, denims and linens. Or purchase the entire collection and get 5 fabrics for free. Each kit comes with a PDF fabric list including the content and weight of each fabric in GSMs.

    Avatar Size Ranges

    The biggest benefit to using CLO is the ability to fit a full size run of your garment before creating any physical samples. But creating a full size range of avatars is a lot of work. It also requires expertise and knowledge of sizing and grading that a lot of people don't have.

      

    IDES offers full size ranges of Male and Female avatars designed for use in CLO. Male avatars come in a size range of imperial waist size 28-44 and are full editable in CLO. Female avatars are available in a straight size range US 0-16, an extended range of 18-28 or a fully size inclusive range of 0-28. Unfortunately the female avatars are not size editable in CLO.

    IDES Basic Blocks have had a glow up. Now you can select any size block from a full size run in select styles! 3D garments come by size, with a custom avatar to match. And if you're not yet using 3D you can purchase our nested PDF patterns that include the full size run. CLO experts that are keen to get the full size run for the price of one can buy the PDF and build the 3D garments yourself.
