IDES (ˈīdz) Studio is the first of its kind. I use 3D Fashion Design as a tool for physical garment production and I serve individuals and brands wanting to do the same. IDES values traditional pattern making and offers fit-tested, production-friendly blocks to help you get started in 3D. IDES users can shop digital products with the same confidence in quality and fit information as expected with fashion e-commerce.

IDES products serve as blocks or templates to start from, as well as accessories and add-ons to complete a project. They are prepared for use in CLO 3D and accurate for physical garment production. All 3D garments are also available as nested PDF Patterns. IDES tutorials are succinct and user-friendly. A complete CLO course is coming soon.

I am Isabel, the founder of IDES. I spent a decade in the New York City fashion industry as a technical designer before working directly for CLO Virtual Fashion. As a CLO designer, I trained teams at Nike, Carhartt, Need Supply/Totokaelo, Macy's and professors at Parsons and FIT. I've also taught CLO at RMIT University. IDES is based in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia and operates globally. I believe 3D is necessary for the future of fashion and I created IDES Studio to help you make the transition.
